PUTTING ON/TAKING OFF OCEANIA GLOVES

Correct: The new Oceania gloves are easier to handle and more durable. The strap doesn't stretch, so you won't be able to wear gloves much smaller without ruining them. Apply talcum powder. The gloves should always be handled by the cuff (avoid pulling hard near the strap). At the palm-thumb point (the thickest part of the hand), the glove should be slid off, not by pulling from the cuff, but by pulling downward. To remove the gloves, once the cuff is rolled up, the strap should never be twisted, but removed by pulling from the glove.

Incorrect: The new Oceania gloves are much more durable and can withstand even heavy pulling. But follow the correct procedure because if you don't apply talcum powder, the glove won't slip off, and there's always the risk of irreparably damaging the silicone with your fingernails or the grip of the gloves.

For easier understanding of the procedure, this video was made without talcum powder. EVERYTHING IS EASIER WITH TALCUM

DRYING

Drying the Oceania Gloves: The gloves should not be dried with heat (only moderate heat sources are acceptable). We recommend drying the gloves with air sources. Dry the outside first, then the inside. Unlined models dry fairly quickly. The Orca model takes longer.

We're publishing some helpful tips for proper glove use after numerous water sports sessions.

Neoprene: The neoprene lining may lose some adhesion. We advise against using makeshift "adhesive solutions" to reattach the lining (you could permanently damage the glove coating). You can cut off the detached neoprene portion.

Silicone: If small "cracks" appear on the edge of the cuff, the mesh is still very resistant, but if the "cracks" get larger, there's a risk of the cuff tearing. Cut the cuff with a straight cut and long scissors a few millimeters long to eliminate the cracks.
