WEAR OCEANIA GLOVES

Correct:The new Oceania Gloves are easier to handle and more resistant. The tape does not stretch, so you will never be able to wear gloves of much smaller sizes without destroying the glove. Apply talcum powder. The gloves should always be handled from the end of the cuff (you should avoid doing strong tractions near the tape). At the point of the palm-thumb (the thickest part of the hand) the glove should be made to slide not by pulling from the cuff, but by pulling down the glove. To remove the gloves, once the cuff is rolled up, the tape should never be turned, remove by pulling from the glove.

Uncorrect: The new Oceania Gloves are much more durable and can withstand even violent pulling. But follow the correct procedure because if you don't apply powder, the glove won't slip and there's always the risk of irreparably damaging the silicone with your nails or the grip of the gloves.

DRYING

Drying the Oceania Gloves: The gloves should not be dried with heat (only moderate heat sources are acceptable). We recommend drying the gloves with air sources. Dry the outside first, then the inside. Unlined models dry fairly quickly. The Orca model takes longer.

We're publishing some helpful tips for proper glove use after numerous water sports sessions.

Neoprene: The neoprene lining may lose some adhesion. We advise against using makeshift "adhesive solutions" to reattach the lining (you could permanently damage the glove coating). You can cut off the detached neoprene portion.

Silicone: If small "cracks" appear on the edge of the cuff, the mesh is still very resistant, but if the "cracks" get larger, there's a risk of the cuff tearing. Cut the cuff with a straight cut and long scissors a few millimeters long to eliminate the cracks.
